If you have built a physical filter and make first measurements on it with a network analyser, you may encounter tuning difficulties. The filter response may be distorted (see above image) and return loss (VSWR) may be poor. Find out quickly what's wrong and what tuning correction is needed by uploading a measured .S2P data file here at rfcurrent.com (measured with a full 2-port calibrated network analyser). On the basis of the measured S-parameter data, I provide you with accurate tuning correction information. This information will enable you to achieve the desired filter response with good passband return loss. It saves you avoidable & lengthy experimental tuning work. The analysis I perform on your submitted .S2P data file is based on advanced methods for filter diagnosis.
